A sustainable tourism body of Tourism ministry, Govt of India Ecotourism Society of India (ESOI) is a non-profit organization with the sole aim to promote and ensure environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the tourism industry. The society was formed in 2008 by a group of eminent professionals from the tourism industry, as well as, environmentalists under the advice of the Ministry of Tourism.
